The company conduct is applicable to abuse of rights, and is thus illegal. It should be withdrawn though collective bargaining.

Harassment

"You can hardly improve your achievements (by number)", "There are so many alternatives", "If you don't like it, quit", "Salary thief" "Scraps like you".

ANSWER



Excessive or too little requirements, mental attacks, both are illegal. Apology by the person who did this and his/her disposition can be asserted. Such behaviors are crimes if they cause workers' medical problems. We, as a labor union, deal with them to realize workplace improvements.

Bankruptcy

If your company possibly bankrupts, or if it suddenly gets bankrupt, what to do?

ANSWER



If you notice in advance, watch out if the company tries reconstruction of the business. You should also secure labor claims and seek for your next place of work. In the case of bankruptcy, the Act on Ensuring Wage Payment is applied.

Long Working Hours

QUESTION


If you are doing a lot of overtime working without extra fees, it can cause damages to mind and body, thereby to cause poor health condition. In the worst case, you are forced to retire due to this.

ANSWER



Improvement of working environment is the biggest theme. Improvements through collective bargaining are optimal solutions, for many of which we are successful.

Unfavorable Changes

Changes such as wage devaluation, abolition of welfare benefits, less time off, and longer working hours.

ANSWER



Such unfavorable changes cannot be unilaterally made against the will of workers. They can be withdrawn.

Worker With Consignment/Contract

QUESTION


Employment contract is often changed into consignment contract. The work content remains the same, but such contract may be cancelled. Currently 40% of workers are without employment security.

It is possible to withdrawal contract cancellation and return to original employment contract. The Professional Baseball Players Association conducted collective bargaining as a labor union and realized improved treatment. JAMGU also has a piano teachers union. It establishes an equal relationship and resolves problems through discussion.
